Not Just Kombucha Anymore

Not Just Kombucha Anymore

Last week we got some seriously unexpected news. For the first time ever, we shipped a few of our drinks to the World Alcohol-Free Awards in London — basically the Oscars for fancy sober drinks. Unlike the last two years where we competed (and won) in the World Kombucha Awards, this time we weren’t just up against other kombuchas… we were up against everything. Botanical spritzers, dealcoholised wines, billion-dollar sodas dressed up as “premium”... you name it.

So imagine our faces when:
🥇 Jasmine Pearls took Gold
🥈 Yuzu & Chilli got Silver
🥉 Ginger & Lemon with Lavender & Rosemary landed a Bronze
✨ Jewel Dew (our Gyokuro) got the Recommended nod

And here’s the funny bit: we didn’t even send all our flavors. Berries? Nope. Elderflower? Didn’t pack. Lime & Mint? Sitting on the bench. We literally winged it — and it worked.

Also, sidenote — I’m turning 40 this year. When I finished my Economics degree 15 years ago, I did not think I’d become a tea-obsessed kombucha maker accidentally beating global giants at their own game. All this started as a passion project, and here we are, medals in hand.

So yeah… Happy Birthday to me. Time to get back to brewing. This ride’s just getting started.
