Events of the season

As we step into our first full autumn/winter season, it marks a new chapter in our journey at YALA Kombucha. For the first time, we’ve ventured beyond the walls of our beloved bar to explore the world outside and connect with our cherished clients in exciting new ways.

Over the course of just one exhilarating month, from November to December, we had the privilege of participating in several remarkable events. These experiences have not only broadened our horizons but also enriched our appreciation for the diverse tastes and preferences of our growing community.

Miami Vibes: Where Chill Meets Kombucha

Our journey began at the Miami Vibes event, nestled next to the iconic Louvre museum. The ambiance was nothing short of magical, with a laid-back vibe that drew in a predominantly Emirati crowd aged 18-28. To ensure we fit right in, we improvised by adding some mesmerizing lighting and speakers to our setup. However, the real star of the show was, of course, our kombucha on tap.

Among the myriad of flavors we offered, it was the fruity ones, particularly the berry-infused blends, that stole the spotlight. Some adventurous souls even requested flavor combinations, although we stood firm in our resistance to adding ice. (Absolutely not!)

Taste Abu Dhabi: A Sophisticated Sip

Next up was Taste Abu Dhabi, an event catering to a more mature crowd of expats. It felt like a drinks party amidst a sea of alcohol, but we were delighted to find a few sober heads in the mix. Our clients sought us out, and we made some valuable contacts that we’re eager to nurture. Plus, we were in excellent company, surrounded by some of Abu Dhabi’s renowned restaurants. In terms of flavors, Yuzu & Chilli and Elderflower were the crowd favorites.

Formula 1: Racing Towards Success

A stroke of luck led us to Formula 1, where we had the chance to showcase our new product: cans. We also unveiled our innovative bicycle-keggerator, a mobile tap fridge that turned heads. Our slim 250 ml cans received rave reviews, and we enjoyed a less crowded space on Abu Dhabi Hill. Next year, we’re ready to take on the Grand Stand with even more excitement!

Michelin Food Festival: A Gourmet Affair

The Michelin Food Festival was undoubtedly the foodie event of the year, and we were honored to be a part of it. Discovered by the organizers during a private kombucha tasting tour, we joined the “Local Producers” crowd, supporting Michelin restaurants from both Abu Dhabi and abroad. Set against the backdrop of Louvre Park, the event was a tremendous success.

We caught the attention of many chefs and restaurant managers, opening doors for exciting collaborations. Most importantly, we unveiled our exclusive kombucha sparkling tea line in champagne bottles an uncharted territory for us. There’s something truly exceptional about high-grade teas fizzing inside a bottle, and it’s where we’re steering our brand next.

As we wrap up this incredible chapter, we can’t help but feel a sense of gratitude for the journey so far. Our kombucha adventure has led us to places we never imagined, and we’re excited to keep pushing boundaries and exploring new horizons.
